Pardon? Yes, you read it correctly, ladies AND gentlemen. We’ve noticed that more and more men are meanwhile reading our blog, much to our pleasure!
How was your week? Mine was really sweet. In more ways than one. The sweetest highlight was #worldcakeday yesterday. Did you all enjoy a slice of cake? Or a cupcake? I was in a real baking mood. It was really cold outside so during breakfast I decided to have a cosy weekend. The perfect opportunity to put on a warm cardigan and hide away from the cold and rain outside. And also dedicate some time to my recipe for relaxation: baking! I don’t know if you also like to bake. But I’m sure you’re all familiar with the moment when the smell of a freshly baked cake fills the air. When your mouth starts to water and time seems to stand still . . . This pretty much sums up my day yesterday. And that’s what I love so much about November. Welcome cosy knitwear. Welcome cupcakes. Chocolate, you’re good for the soul. I love you.
But now it’s time for a relaxing bath. And then time to quickly put back on my cardigan and make myself comfortable on the sofa. Of course with another cupcake and a mug of hot chocolate. Mmmmmm!
I hope you all have a cosy first Advent and a blissful new week full of sweet treats.
Hey there! Great to have you back on board. I hope you all had a wonderful week full of happiness and inspiration. Speaking of inspiration, where do you find yours? Do you leaf through magazines? Or browse the Internet? Do you scroll Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest? Do you have any favourite blogs? I really like http://www.linamallon.de – this is where I find great tips such as which accessory will suit me best.
Silently I am standing on the step in front of my house, looking down at the street in front of me. On the pavement the leaves are dancing in the wind and I notice how the hot chocolate from my insulated mug is making its way down my throat and into my stomach. And it feels so good, like a hug from the inside. I’m on my way into the city, to celebrate my friend Gülay’s birthday.
